» Day 1

NJP/Bagdogra to Mirik Via Sukna-Garidhura
Our representative cordially receives you on arrival at Siliguri (NJP R St. / Bagdogra IXB) and helps you to board the car.

We proceed to Mirik – a small serene tourist retreat in the Himalayas nestled among the verdant forests of pine and Japanese cedar. The beautiful drive passes along the rolling hill slopes covered with lush green tea gardens and gives a magnificent vista of the lower Himalayan landscape. The small town Mirik is famous for its beautiful lake surrounded but forested hills, orange orchards and cardamom plantations.

We assist you to check in at hotel. Get refreshed and have free leisure evening. We recommend a relaxed evening and take a short silent walk through the misty pine forests and listen to the nature that surrounds you. Car Service Till drop at Hotel.

» Day 2

Mirik sight seeing and Darjeeling transfer Via Sukhia and Ghoom
Today after breakfast we take you to the famous Sumendu Lake. Surrounded by forested hills on all sides with the back drop of Mt Kanchenjunga the lake is an attractive recreation center for tourist. Enjoy your time by boating on the lake and by horse riding or by feeding the fish in the lake. Walk to the Kawlaydara View point to get a sweeping view of the plains and snow ranges. The place also offers a fascinating view of sun set and sun rise. Also visit Tamang Buddhist monastery and Tibetan Buddhist Monastery two very popular monasteries in Mirik. Back to hotel and leave Mirik. Car Service Till drop.

Today we proceed to Darjeeling in the morning. The journey runs along the ridge bordering the neighboring country Nepal and passes through some of the most beautifully located tea gardens in the rolling hill slopes and misty pine forests. Take a visit to Pashupati Market (need a separate car) in Nepal on the way. Also visit Jorepokhri Salamander Project – one of the very few places in the world to shelter the rare Himalayan reptiles. Proceed to Darjeeling via Ghoom. The Queen of hills – greets you with all its grandeur: the great view of mountains and valleys dotted with tea gardens and forests, and a blend of traditional heritage and modern cultures.

We recommend a relaxed evening and short walk around The Mall to enjoy the Typical Hill life of Darjeeling Town in a painted landscape. Car Service Till drop at Hotel.

» Day 3

Local tour in Darjeeling
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill at 8442ft above sea level to experience the unforgettable sight of Sunrise over the Kunchenjungha Mountains. Visit Ghoom Monastery – one of the oldest Monasteries in Darjeeling and also Batasia Loop – the picturesque garden and War Memorial with the backdrop of snow ranges – on your way back to hotel. Car service from 4.00AM to 7.30AM.

After breakfast visit Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday) to see some rare collection of high altitude Himalayan species like Snow leopard, clouded Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Red Panda and many rare mammal and birds in the nature surroundings. Visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday) to see the priceless collection of mountaineering gears used by legendary climbers in the Himalayas. After that we take you to the Tea garden on the undulating valleys for viewing the scenic landscape and tea plucking and processing (seasonal) then proceed to Tenzing rock and Gombu Rock for some fun rock climbing activities. Now we take you to the Tibetan Refugee center (Closed on Sunday) and Bhutia Basti to procure the traditional handicraft items made by the local people. Visit Ava Art Gallery that houses the unique art and embroidery works of Mrs. Ava Devi. Back to Hotel for Lunch.    Car service from 9Am to 1PM.

Optional tour
After Lunch visit Rock garden, a garden fully made out of rock. A marvel of present day architecture the rock garden is situated at a distance of about 12 kilometers away from Darjeeling town. It is a place worth a visit. Also visit Ganga Maya park situated 2 kilometers away from rock garden. It has a small lake at its helm, with boating facilities where one can enjoy the serene cool atmosphere of the place. Back to the hotel and have a free time for shopping at Mall. Car service from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM.

Recommended: Walk around the 'Lover's Road' and enjoy a quite evening at the Shrubbery Park on top of the Mall hill.

» Day 4

Darjeeling to Kalimpong via Ghoom – Peshok
After breakfast go for a fascinating toy train joy ride to Ghoom – the highest station in India. The heritage steam toy train runs through the zig zag trails along the road to Ghoom and back to Darjeeling after 1.5hrs of unforgettable journey. Timing 9AM to 11AM

Today morning we proceed to Kalimpong via Ghoom and Peshok. From Ghoom the road goes through the misty pine forests before you reach Peshok. The view of the fascinating tea gardens at Peshok with the Kanchenjunga snow range will demand you to stop a while for a refreshing break. Now you drive all along the beautiful emerald green River Tista Till Chitrey. Form here the road takes sharp right turn widening the view of the valleys as you climb further up towards Kalimpong.

Kalimpong - a little town and sub division head quarter in the lower Himalayas, is famous for its mild climate; scenic landscape doted with old colonial buildings, magnificent view of Kunchenjungha and rare orchids. Check in at Hotel. After a short tea break walk down to the Kalimpong Bazaar – popular place for shopping traditional handicraft items like hand woven woolen garments, wooden masks, Tibetan paintings and many other attractive souvenirs. Back to hotel and have a leisure walk along the lonely Rinchen Pong road to feel the serene environment. Car service till 5PM

Recommended – White Water Rafting at Tista River (Melli to 27th Mile for 1.5hrs) on your way to Kalimpong.

» Day 5

Kalimpong sight seeing
Today after breakfast we take you to Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery, the largest and most beautiful Monastery in Kalimpong established in 1976 by His Holiness Dalai Lama. The monastery belongs to the Yellow Hat Sect of Buddhism. Also visit Durpin Dara View Point close to the monastery. Situated at a height of 4500ft (1380M) the place commands a beautiful panoramic view of Kunchenjungha peak and other prominent peaks of Himalayas along with the River valleys flowing below through hills and forests. Stop a while at the cute little Golf course on the lush green rolling slope to take some photographs. Now we take you to Rishi Bankim Chandra Park, a small park with full of flowers and birds. A perfect place for relaxing. Also visit Orchid Nurseries in the down town to have glimpse and purchase of rare orchids.

Back to hotel for lunch and visit to famous Delo View point at 5500ft (1650M), the highest point of Kalimpong town having a very picturesque view of the high snow mountains and the Tista River Valley. On our way back we take you to the Historical Dr. Graham's Homes, the house of Dr. J A Graham, one of the earliest Scottish Missionaries, who established an orphanage and a farm house in 1900. The Chapel at the house is a glorious example of old European Architecture. Now enter into the Ecological Museum run by Forest Department to have glimpse of the trophies of wild animals and collection of flora available in the Himalayan region. Visit to Mangaldham Temple belongs to the followers of Sri Krishna Pranami Dharma built in the Memory of Sri Mangaldas Maharaj, whose eternal body was buried at the ground floor of the temple. Back to hotel and have a free evening in the quite atmosphere at the hotel premises. Car service 8AM to 4.30PM

Kalimpong to NJP/Bagdogra
